Air passengers carried

According to ICAO's preliminary compilation of annual global statistics, the total number of passengers carried on scheduled services increased to 4.7 billion in 2024, which is 7.9 per cent higher than the previous year, while with the number of departures increasing to 37.4 million in 2024, a 5.1 per cent increase.
